After a violent storm in 1909, the breakwater light was destroyed. In 1911, a new pyramidal concrete
structure was erected in its place. The foundation of the new light consisted of a tank house standing 5'

7" by 7' 9" in plan, above which a four-sided concrete structure stood 5' square at the base and tapered

to 2' 6" square at its upper level 16 feet above the foundation.
